I’ve been out of town so I missed the announcement. Apparantley the guys who own the Rosebud in tosa want to open a similar theater at the old Kohl’s site. It’s amazing how quiet the Wal-Mart loving crowd is about it. Perhaps this is because something good that will actually help with property values might come into the city. This coupled with the work being done around City Lounge will make for a nice destination for people coming in from areas outside of Cudahy. I’d much rather have my tax dollars going to this than a stinkhole like Wal-Mart.

Randy and his minions are pissed that the CDA met behind closed doors regarding the former Kohl’s food store site on KK. As someone who works in the business world, I can understand why the developer and the City of Cudahy would want to keep things quiet. I’m all for accountability and openness, but at the same time if I was working with the city on something I’m potentially investing money in I would want it to be quiet as well. I wouldn’t want my competitors to know what I’m up to either. Wen the time is appropriate I’m sure we’ll find out exactly what is going on and exactly how many pens, pencils, pads of paper, and post-it notes were used.
I grew up a couple blocks away from that land and my dad still lives over there. I’m happy they’re finally going to do something with it.
Randy, why don’t you spend some of your limitless personal time on a long winded post about who you voted for in the last election. THAT would be something worth reading!

Well, I know I said on my last post that I wouldn’t link to Randy’s toilet bowl of a blog anymore, but I honestly can’t take any more of his posts. I guess I shouldn’t say “his posts”, because he’s too lazy to write his own posts so he just has “guest bloggers” write on his behalf. I will admit that I don’t have nearly the amount of time that Randy does to go to meetings or harass elected officials, but I will do my best to keep up with what is going on in the city.
I don’t have much to say about the state of the city address, but I will say that I’m happy with the way things are going. Higher paying jobs, less deadbeat landlords, less trash pile vehicles, no Wal-Mart, and higher rent all sound like good ideas to me. Unless I’m missing something, I think we’re heading in the right direction. The only thing I’m dissapointed in is the fact that the empty condo building across from the library is going to turn into apartments. I live right across the street and personally I think if it is not going to be condos, they should implode it like a Vegas casino. I’d rather see empty land out my front window than more apartments.
I’d like to hear feedback from some Hollenbeck supporters. Go ahead and post some comments. I won’t censor them like your pal Randy does.

I’ve been pretty quiet lately, mostly due to starting a new job. I still skim Randy Hollenbeck’s posts, but lately they are just rancid pieces of garbage. I’m not a great wordsmith by any means, but Randy Hollenbeck just makes the people of Cudahy look like morons.
Randy, since you’re so open minded and willing to listen to people, here is some advice. Nobody is going to read your 1000 word, unorganized, long winded posts. Why don’t you pick one thing and write a couple of paragraphs about it? I pray to God that the documentation you do for your IT customers is more organized and concise than the stuff you put on Cudahy Now.
I’m not even going to link to the toilet you call your blog anymore.

As you all have probably heard by now, the Cudahy Common council voted against Wal-Mart earlier this week, just as I hoped they would. Randy is throwing a fit like a little kid on his blog with his usual posts that are too long and difficult to follow. That is to be expected though.
I’d rather see the smoking pile of rubble that used to be the ice port than a big box retailer on that site. I’m glad the City came through and I applaud Ryan McCue for having the guts (once again) to do the right thing. I’m anxious to see how long it is before the Wal-Mart supporters start calling for a recall again.

I haven’t heard boo about the recall of Mayor Ryan McCue over the last month and a half. Randy even pulled the recall McCue blurb off of his Cudahy Now blog page. What gives? Now that Wal-Mart scammed their way into a yes vote, nobody cares anymore? Did Wal-Mart pull the plug on it or did Orville Seymer and the rest of the Gestapo finally give up? Would someone please let the good people of Cudahy know what is going on here?

According to this post on Cudahy Now, there will be a special CDA meeting on Thursday, September 11th at 5:30 pm to discuss a memorandum of understanding for the Iceport and Nicholson & Layton sites. I will attend and post an update on what is discussed.

Randy, why don’t you change the name of your blog to “The Way CRG Sees It”? It’s funny how your last 2 “guest” bloggers were from CRG. My whole problem with it is that when I asked you about the recall of Ryan McCue, you claimed you’re not involved with it. If you’re really not involved, why do you let them publish posts on your blog? Why don’t you and CRG do us all a favor and post something worthwhile like where you’re at in the recall process?

Hey Randy, you’re not even going to give us an explanation as to why your super racist post about Obama was taken down? Was it you, or NOW that took it down? If you truly thought the post was okay, how can you still blog on their site after they pulled it? Isn’t freedom of the press and more importantly freedom of speech something you believe in? Why don’t you use the traits you so brazenly describe yourself with to challenge them? Are you afraid they’ll shut you down?
These are all questions that will never get answered, just like my ongoing question about who Randy and Sue voted for in the last mayoral election will never get answered. These people are the reason Cudahy has a bad image. They shout, complain, and whine, but when everyone’s cards are on the table they hide behind recalls, and groups like CRG.
